Hello fellow shooters!

Winter has passed once again and with spring in air the 2009 shooting season is just about upon us. 
Thanks to everyone who participated in any of the shoots around the province last year, particularly those first time sporting clays shooters and the people from out of province who made the trip to shoot with us at the Western Challenge.  We are always looking for new, interested shooters.    
Thanks are in order to Nicole DeCorby and Jim Brown for putting on an excellent Provincial Shoot last August at Allan and to Curt Amey for providing prizes for both the Provincial and Western Clay Challenge Shoots.  Thanks are also in order to the Regina Wildlife Federation for allowing us to hold the Western Clay Challenge in Regina.  This year’s Provincial Shoot will be held in Assiniboia at the Rasmussen Farm and we should over $1500 in prizes again this year.  It is a great place to shoot and we should have some great prizes again.  

If you are reading this then it means that we have successfully entered the digital age and that SSCA is moving away from mailing our shoot brochures.  This Newsletter and all shoot information will be sent by email and also anyone can simply refer to the website and get information on all of our shoots from it. 

The website should have links to all of our shoot dates listed below as well as all the trap and skeet shoot dates and clubs.  Our annual general meeting was held in Mossbank in January and the meeting minutes are included with this email.  

Memberships are still $10 per year and club memberships are $25 per year.
